Last Thursday was the first rainout of the Fall 2019 season. We've had great luck with the weather overall after a crazily wet summer. Last fall was historically wet too. It was the first time we were not able to complete our postseason due to all the rainouts. We had great weather tonight, and we were back on track.

With a boisterous "Yar," Black Pearl made booty of Scooby's snacks in the early game, 15-11 Black. "The strongest ship is a friendship." those hearty pirates croaked after their victory, "Good game, Scooby Blue."

Polar Bears got off to a hot start before Blood started to boil in the nightcap. Blood grabbed the lead, and the Bears made a late comeback before Blood took half with a narrow edge 8-7. Polar Bears kept it close, but Brian Funicelli had an epic night for Blood, including a Callahan in the second half. Blood got the win 15-13.

With tonight's results, Blood is alone in first place by a very narrow margin, with Black Pearl and Scooby Snacks only one game back. Polar Bears have been in some close games and still figure to be in the thick of the chase down the stretch.
