After a couple of rainouts, it was a beautiful night at the Kiln. In spite of the unseasonably warm night, attendance at the games was light. Blood had to play savage versus Polar Bears, who were also not as numerous as they have been lately. Blood took half, and the Polar Bears got off to a hot start in the second, but Blood pulled away to win the game 15-6.

Scooby Blue brought special snacks to instill energy and confidence in their match with Black Pearl in the late game: Pirate's Booty. The snacks apparently worked. While the game was close, and there were many "Yars" and "Ahoys," it was Scooby Blue that got the narrow victory, 15-12.

Reminder, there are no games on Monday, October 14th. The Lime Kiln rec is closed for Columbus Day.

There are only two more nights of regular season games this Fall. Monday, October 21, is our Halloween game night. Wear a costume that you can play disc in. Candy will be served. Playoffs begin on Thursday, October 24th. In the Fall, we have a double elimination bracket format. With the talent on these rosters, any of the four teams could win. Seedings are still too close to call.
