Yellow defeated White in the early game, with Keegs reporting the final as 15-8. It was nice to see veterans of the sport at the field for the game, including the incomparable John Waldie.
Blue faced Red in prime time while all of Red's ladies were away in Canada. Bobby Owens guested for Red for a half, and then he was replaced by Keegs and Zac, with the stipulation that Keegs was not allowed to throw to Zac... but Zac could throw to Keegs. Ultimately, these codicils proved too complex, proving Tom Manner's shrewd bargaining as Blue captain pro tempore and locum tenens for the absent Chris America. Blue led by a point at half and widened the gap to defeat Red 15-12.
Black and Green both had smallish squads for the late game, and it was decided that no guest players would be permitted. Green stayed unbeaten with a 15-8 win over Black.
