Monday, August 26, 2019 - Fall Season starts!

Fall season got underway on a crisp night that felt twenty degrees cooler than the Summer championship played just two weeks ago.

Red and White played in the early game. White got some early breaks to build a lead, but Red came back and took half 8-7. The second half continued on serve, with the teams continuing to trade points. The game got off to a late start, as usual, and the pace of the points meant time was an issue. With only a one point margin, the game was winding down. Walt made a big defensive play for Red and the team converted a break to lead by two. With the hard cap in less than two minutes, that all but sealed the win. Walt got another D on the next point and Red got another break. The final was 14-11, but it could have gone either way until those closing minutes. Great game!

Black and Blue faced off in the late game. Both teams had crazy rosters and very active sidelines. There were big hucks, and sprinting cutters and defenders racing around the field. Kellie scored the first two points for Black, while Raeburn scored the first two points for Blue. At the end of the night, the game was decided on U point. 15-14 Blue!

Couldn't ask for a better start to the Fall season!
