Fall 2019 draft recap

The Fall 2019 draft was lit! according to the assembled captains. For the first time in league history, all teams will be led by womxn. Bri and Marissa rocking the blue Snacks. Schmack continuing to rock the red Blood. Kate and Christina rocking the white Polar Bears. Caro rocking the black name TBD. Rosters are posted on the website.

Blue reserves the rights to the trademark "Pop, Pop, Pop!" cheer, but has decided that their theme for the fall will be snacks. Bri and Marisa are joined by all stars Zac, Cheyenne, Chris America, Matt Stew, Tom Manner and a host of others, including Raeburn, who had to miss the summer season. Snacks is stacked.

Red has adopted Blood as the team name for this fall. Schmack is joined by club sensation Ben Phillips and perennial East Fishkill all stars Walt, Gary and Brian. Hanz is also on the roster, but the team will have to convince him it is worth the trek from Cortland to play. (It totally is.) Connor Haller brings a summer championship to the roster.

White features Ultimate celebrities Tisch and Tony, as well as club veterans Bobby Owens, Justin Lamarche, Vicky Robustello (when she can pry herself away from captaining Gunx), and this summer's most improved Tom Banney. A host of solid players rounds out this competitive team.

Black is captained by Caro, who will be playing with Jimi, Keegs, Isaiah, Dr. B, Peri, Tom Santiago and other East Fishkill regulars. This team could be just as deep as Blue, and the matchups look scary to the elderly and full-figured commissioner.

We are psyched for this season. The teams all have strong players and players who are learning. We're also hoping womxn in leadership roles can continue to advance inclusive culture in our league. Keep moving forward!
