Monday's games to start the season were all blowouts, interestingly with all three ending with the same final score: 15-8. Tonight's games were more lightly attended, with multiple teams having few subs. The scores were closer too, with two games ending on hard cap.

Red outlasted a short-handed Black squad 12-10 in the early game. Red has looked strong in two games so far, with a nice mix of handlers and cutters and depth. Black was missing some of the players that helped them to a big win on Monday.

Green withstood a nice comeback by a short-handed White squad in the prime time game, 13-11. Too early to say, but Green could be a favorite with two strong efforts before top picks Noam and Eli have even made it to a game. White has gone without some of its best players in its first two games.

Yellow outlasted Blue in the nightcap, 15-12. Blue, similar to White and Black, did not have many subs. Blue played valiantly, rattling off four straight points to tie in the second half of the game, but Yellow's depth and some nice defensive plays late sealed their first win of the young season.

Reminder, there are no games on Monday, May 28. The rec center is closed for Memorial Day. Play resumes next Thursday.
