Green had only six players for the early game versus Blue with good numbers. However, Green's savage six had good flow and made few unforced errors. They built a lead and defeated Blue 13-8. Blue continues to come up short in spite of the talent on their roster. Blue's one point loss to Red on Monday was described as one of the best games ever played on the Lime Kiln field.

Yellow and Red squared off in prime time with first place on the line. After Yellow's loss and Red's win on Monday, only a half game separated the two teams in the standings, and the two teams were even at 1-1 head to head so far this season. Red held the tie break on point differential. Red was missing Gary tonight, but had a solid squad. They broke Yellow to score the game's first point and they pulled away to lead 8-4 at the half. Zac's half time speech to Yellow was a somber one. Red was the faster team, and Yellow was getting outplayed.

The second half opened with Red scoring another point, and then Yellow started to get it together. More aggressive defense allowed Yellow to start scoring breaks, climbing back into the game a point at a time. The score was tied at twelve, and the teams traded points until the captains agreed to win by two with a cap at 17. Red received the pull tied at 14-14. Yellow got a D, and had a chance to score on a nifty throw to Kristi that proved just out of reach. Yellow got another D, this time narrowly missing a scoring opportunity to Phil. Red marched back down field but turned the disc over a third time. Three proved the charm for Yellow, this time punching it in to take a one point lead. Red received and again could not score. Yellow got another turn and scored the break to complete what earlier would have seemed an improbable comeback. With the win, Yellow remained in first place, with a game and a half lead over Red.

Bri was awarded the commissioner's disc for best costume - a tutu snowman ensemble complete with hat, pipe and Santa socks. White could not field a team tonight, so Black won the late game by forfeit. A mix of players stayed for an over the top pickup game while the sidelines buzzed over the remains of the candy.

White remains in third, with Green only one game behind them. Black has won three straight and sits only one game behind Green. With three regular season games remaining, Blue has clinched the six seed in the upcoming playoffs. Yellow has clinched a first round bye in the playoffs, since they can finish no worse than second in the regular season. Red leads White 2-1 this season, and holds a +5 point differential in their head to head games. In order for White to claim a top two playoff seed and a bye, they need to win out, while Red needs to lose their next three including their final regular season game vs White by six points or more. The fight for the 3-5 seeds between White, Green and Black is still too close to call.
