Red led Yellow 8-7 at the half of the early game, but Bobby had to leave for his fantasy football draft. Yellow scored a break to tie it up as the second half began, and it went back and forth from there. It was tied at 13 when Yellow scored to lead by one. Red needed a hold to force U point with time running down, but turned the disc in the end zone. Going back the other way, Dr. B found Zac on a beautiful flick huck, and Yellow got the win 15-13.
White and Blue played a close game early, with Blue showing a zone look on defense. White was able to build a lead at half 8-5, and pulled away in the second half to win 15-8.
After the first two nights of a young fall season, Yellow and White are 2-0, while Red and Blue are 0-2 but hungry.
Reminder there are no games on Monday, September 3rd. The rec center is closed for Labor Day. Games resume next Thursday. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
