Red was beset by many obstacles on Monday. Captain Tom was sick. Corey just moved away. Jim and Joe were injured. Bryan couldn't make it. Kate has been a true heroine as their only lady who has made it to a game so far this fall. With only five players ready to play tonight, Tom "I'm always ready to help a team in need" Manner guested with Red so the game versus Yellow could be 6 vs 6. It was not enough to make Red competitive. Yellow prevailed 15-6. "Smoked like a ham," Cody said of Red as a tactfully neutral observer.

Speaking of Cody, his White team, featuring Tom "I'm not tired at all after playing savage for Red in the early game" Manner, engaged in a knock down, drag out, persona y persona brawl with Chris America and the Blue team, who have been playing some dominating flatball at the Kiln lately. The late game was epic, as neither team would yield. Greg described it as a "defensive battle." Cody exclaimed that it was the "most fun game of the season" (so far). It is always more fun when you win. White secured a narrow victory, 15-14.
