Yellow defeated Blue 15-9 in the early game.
Red had only six players for the late game, so White was generous and let Dino guest for Red. Dino caught a big huck for Red's first score. Red got a little too invested in the big huck game, and White was able to get three breaks in a row to take an 8-5 lead at half. Gary made a great grab for a deep White score. Second half, both teams were trying to be more chilly with the disc, playing horizontal stack offense. Red battled back to tie the game, and then go on a run of their own closing out a 15-12 comeback win just as the skies opened up with rain.
With the Yellow win and White loss, the teams are tied atop the Fall standings, but White holds the tie breaker having won both of their head to head match ups so far this season. The teams will play again a week from Thursday. With their comeback win tonight, Red has a 0.500 record at 4-4. Blue has a crazy good roster, but has lost two straight after their big win over Yellow on September 20th.
Reminder: There are no games next Monday, October 8th. The Kiln is closed for Columbus Day.
