Thursday, November 15, 2018: The Kiln was closed on Monday, Nov 12th for Veteran's Day, so today was looking like the last day to get the Fall championship decided.

There was winter storm warning for Eastern New York, so the captains met at the Kiln in the afternoon to judge a dance off between Cody, representing White, and Tom, representing Red.

Cody won the toss and opened the competition in full song with a stunning recreation of the choreography of "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan. Tom responded in a bright red leisure suit doing finger disco to the tune of "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees. Cody contorted his arms in a most unnatural way as Finn the Human wooing Princess Bubblegum. Tom shot back with an epic foxtrot that ended with him telling the captains he's going to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Tom took half, but it was close.

Returning to the field after a change of costume, Tom did a sailor's jig. The judges thought that was a reach, giving Cody a chance to even the score. He did not disappoint, doing a mashup of songs from Baby Driver that also included imitations of his favorite Pokemon. Tom had one final chance to get the win, and he went full Eddy Gordo capoeira, while doing a rap about how the White team was "wizzeak." The judges were awed.

U-Point. Cody queued some Chippendales music and took the field clad only in cleats, tux shorts and a bow tie. Bold move in such cold weather. Tom followed him out there in the same kit, but with a red tie. First it was just flexing, but then they started to twerk. Zac and Chris had seen enough. It was decided, for the good of the league, that the contest be stopped and the two teams share the Fall championship.

<In all seriousness, I've played at the Lime Kiln rec for a long time, and this was the worst I'd ever seen the field. The soccer team also cancelled their championship.>
