Blue was on fire vs White in the early game tonight. With the game close in the second half, Blue went on a scoring run with zone defense forcing some turnovers, and capitalizing with sharp cuts and throws to score break points. The play of the game was Chris America sprinting downfield on a pull to knock down the first throw by White. Chris followed up with a nifty cut to score the bookends. White scored two points to narrow the gap as time ran down, but Blue's run proved too much to overcome. The final score was 14-12 Blue. Black's attendance problems found them with only five players for the late game. Even though that is just enough to avoid a forfeit, Black forfeited anyway to avoid playing savage with such a small team, adding a number of guest players from the early game. Black and Friends proved to be a strong team, scoring the first few points of the game, and going on to defeat Zac and a talented Red squad 10-8, but the official result is Red winning the game on the forfeit.
