Beautiful night at the field. Not too cold. No wind. Grass cut and the field re-lined. Pity the first game was a forfeit. For the second time this week, Black only had three players. Once again, Red came to the rescue providing players to round out a team for pickup so we could play 7 v 7. The all Red squad beat the Red and Black squad 16-6, but the official score was 7-0 Red over Black on the forfeit.

White defeated Blue 15-8 in the late game.

Last games of the regular season are on Monday, and then we'll start our Fall playoffs in double-elimination format. Red has a one game lead over White, but White won the season series vs Red 3-2, so if Red loses to Blue on Monday and White defeats Black, White can snatch the top seed. Otherwise, Red will be the 1 seed in the playoffs. Black and Blue are tied at 4-9, with Blue holding the edge for the 3 seed on tie breaks by winning the season series vs Black 3-2. That could change on Monday if Black beats White and Blue loses to Red.

A reminder, Monday, October 30, the second night of the playoffs, we'll be celebrating Halloween. You are encouraged to wear a costume you can play in (and hopefully still make it obvious which team you're on). Candy will be served.
