Green played a great game and defeated a strong White team 15-12 in the early game.

Yellow started strong, only to have Blue come roaring back to tie and then take a lead in prime time. The game went back and forth in the second half, and headed to overtime. Yellow went up a point, Blue tied again, then Yellow grabbed the lead and made it stick winning a nail-biter 14-13 over Blue in OT.

Black and Red played a close game in the nightcap, with Red pulling ahead for the win 12-9.

The past three games have really tightened up the standings with both White and Red losing 2 of three, Black losing three straight, and Green and Yellow both winning three in a row. Blue has kept it close, including tonight's overtime loss, while one of their best handlers is out of the country.

Two reminders:

• No games on Monday, July 3. The rec center will be closed. Everyone have a safe and happy 4th of July. Our games resume on Thursday, July 6th.
• Thursday, July 13, will be the league's THIRD ANNUAL HALLOWEEN IN JULY! Wear a costume you can play ultimate in (props if it is also team color appropriate). Candy will be served. This year, I reserve the right to give a prize to the wearer of the best costume in addition to wanting a group photo of costumed ultimate people.
