White prevailed over Blue 14-10 in the early game, but Blue played valiantly, still missing one of their best players and only having one sub.

Green won their fourth straight game, defeating Red 12-11 in overtime. It was an excellent game to watch.

Black narrowly defeated Yellow 12-11 in the late game. Yellow led by three early, and remained ahead by one at the half. Black tied it after a long point to start the second, and went up by two late. Yellow pulled within one point with under a minute to go, and had a chance to tie as time expired, but Black got a D and sealed the win. The loss snaps Yellow's three game winning streak, and the win was Black's first after three consecutive losses.

Green's hot streak, Black's win, and Yellow's loss drop Yellow two places in the standings, but also show how close the league has been this season.

A reminder: One week from tonight: Halloween in July III. Candy will be served. A prize will be awarded for best costume (at the commish's discretion). I'm also hoping for some good pictures for the league's website, so tell your photographer friends to get their game faces on and candy up.
