Over the weekend, East Fishkill won the championship of Marist's Huckson River Classic tournament. A number of other league players were playing for New Paltz Gunx and the host Marist Fox Ultimate teams. It was a fantastic event, and players are already looking forward to next year's.

White defeated Red 15-8 in the early game. Black only had three players for the late game so Blue won by forfeit. The epic pickup game that ensued featured Christian America Coscio's friendly amendment of Pick 6 for the second half. Black and Friends prevailed in the pickup 14-7 before hilarity and fatigue called an end to the evening's proceedings.
Black's last three games have all been won by forfeit: Black forfeited to Red, then White forfeited to Black, and tonight Black forfeited to Blue. That's been great for folks who like pickup, especially for Nick Van Tassell and others who say, "I have a jersey of every color in my bag, just in case." However, there are only two Fall season games remaining before playoffs, so if you haven't been around much lately please drop your team captain a line and let them know if you'll be able to play. We miss you.
