On Monday, I wrote about Blue's hot streak, Red's cold streak, and White's unbeaten streak. I said streaks were made to be broken. Two of those streaks ended tonight.
Red and Green were tied at the half of the early game, but Red built a lead in the second half and hung on to win 13-11. Yellow fell to an inspired Black team 13-10 in the prime time game. In the nightcap, Blue and White played a close back-and-forth game, and in the end it was Blue's hot streak that stayed intact, handing White their first loss of the summer 13-11.
Three close games, and great fans on the sidelines. Thanks for a great night of ultimate!
One game from the halfway point in the summer season, White still holds a four game lead for first place. Blue is hot and they moved into second, but there is only a one and a half game spread between second place and sixth.
