White could have won the Fall championship by beating Black tonight, but Black would not be denied. Black scored first and never trailed, though the game stayed fairly close throughout. There were several long points with multiple turnovers. Zach Schiff was a beast. Matt Stew was superfast. Frank, Trevor, and Luisa were chilly handlers. Sarah, Cara, Corey and the rest of Black played well. White had fewer players, including one particularly elderly commissioner, and the team looked tired by the end. Black led by four at one point in the second half. White closed to two, but that was it. 13-11 Black.
Both teams have beaten the other in the playoffs, so that means the ultimate Ultimate game, the finals, will be decided in a rematch between Black and White on Monday, November 14th, at 7 PM.
