Two close games tonight. In the early game, Blue and Black were tied at 7-7 in the second half before two long points that Black eventually managed to convert. The lead held, and Black went on to win 11-9. Both teams showed some solid play on both offense and defense.

In the late game, Green got off to a solid start against White, leading 6-3 before White battled back to tie the score at the half. The game went back and forth, remaining close through the second half, but Green was clinging to a small lead. With time running down, White was able to tie the score at 11-11 and force a five minute overtime. Green won the toss and received, working the disc patiently down the field and converting for a score to lead 12-11. They pulled to White, and then both teams got some stops before Green was able to score a break point and build the lead to two points. Time expired, and Green handed White their first loss of the Fall season.

Some folks got heated tonight, and that made me sad. This is recreational ultimate - please remember that and keep it fun. Thanks.
