Firstly it was great to welcome back Lakenheath and also have Lincoln join the ERVS for the first time; hopefully these teams will be back! Secondly a big thanks for the team managers who convinced players to play so soon into the new year. Also many thanks to all those players who joined the Guest teams and also helped out the other teams who were short of a player, or two.

The Ladies' tournament saw a strong Lakenheath team comfortably win all five of their games to win overall. This has meant that the four tournaments this year have been won by four different teams! Is It In? were beaten in the final but still strengthened their lead overall. Spikers beat CVC Tigers to finish third. Stowmarket Aces won both their play-off games to finish fifth, CVC Panthers beat UEA to end up 6th.

In the Men's tournament Norwich Spikers again won the tournament after beating Lakenheath in the final. Norwich Spikers 2 beat Medusa in the semi-final to make it a great day for Spikers. Lincoln Slayers won both their games in the plate play-offs to end-up 5th and Rhinos beat UEA to finish 6th.

Thanks again to all those who helped out with the guest team as well as the other teams who needed to borrow a player. Next tournament is SATURDAY 27th January, this should be another good day!
