European Anti-Racism Network Conference 2002
The European Anti-Racism conference took place from November 1 - 3, 2002 in Egmond / The Netherlands. The conference was organised by us in cooperation with TIE Netherlands, Black Workers for Justice from England and a group of trade unionists of the French trade union SUD Rail.
Summary of the results
The conference was a big success. Approximately 60 participants from England, France, Poland, the US and the Netherlands discussed with each other and exchanged their experiences.

Website of the week on LabourStart
One day before the opening of the conference the EARN website was announced "Labour Website of the Week" on LabourStart (http://www.labourstart.org).
Target group
The conference was focusing on blacktrade unionists of different European trade unions and migrants who are occupied with equal opportunities or anti-racism policies.
Goals of the conference
To strengthen the position of black and migrant employees within the trade unions and companies;
To exchange knowledge and experiences concerning the setup and the execution of equal opportunities policies;
To form a European network of black and migrant trade unionists.
