Class Description:
Here is the class description as given by the university:
"Synthesis of microcomputer systems, including interfacing, component analysis, signaling requirements, and programming. Covers architecture basics, including instruction sets, assembly language programming, loading, timing, and interrupts. Includes hands-on implementation."
Essentially we designed, built, and programmed a computer from the ground up. This was my first experience with wire-wrap which I have come to love. Below is the final portfolio which contains pictures, schematics, a parts list, pinouts off all the used chips and all the assembly code I made for the final project.
Eventually I hope to document in greater detail the entirety of this project here, and will add things as time permits.
