Short Bio

My background is in Maths and Computer Science: I graduated in Theoretical Mathematics and Applications from University of Belgrade. After completing a postgraduate one-year program in Computer Science at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland, I continued doctoral studies at ETHZ, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and obtained my PhD in a modelling of Internet topology.

For five years I worked as a Research Scientist at Unilever Discover in Colworth, UK, in MAPS (mathematical and psychological sciences) expertise team. We developed and analysed agent-based models of markets and consumers, simulating markets and people behaviour.

After that I have spent a year as a post-doc researcher on EPSRC granted Digital Economy project in Centre for the Mathematics of Human Behaviour led by Prof. Peter Grindrod at School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at University of Reading where I was working as Lecturer in Mathematics from 2011 to 2018. In Sep 2013 I became Director of the Centre, leading a team working on data analytics methods with a wide range of applications: renewable energy, social media analytics and brain imaging.

From June 2018 to March 2020 I was a Senior Research Fellow at Knowledge Media Institute, Open University. From 2020 I work as Analytics Consultant in Capgemini Engineering.

My main interest is in networks analysis and modelling, and data analytics.
