Ann Borysowski, MPA is the Interim-President of DVAVA. She works for the Greater Pennsylvania Region of the American Red Cross as a Senior Volunteer Engagement Specialist. Ann has worked for the American Red Cross for more than eight years in a variety of volunteer management roles. Prior to working at the Red Cross, she worked at a small social services nonprofit focusing on mental health and housing. Ann is graduate of West Chester University where she earned a BA in Political Science and The University of Delaware where she earned a Master of Public Administration with a nonprofit concentration. Ann lives in Berks county with her husband and son.
Diane Curran has managed the Volunteer Department at Abington Hospital since 2011, adding Lansdale Hospital to her responsibilities in 2020. She recently served as President of DVAVA and also spearheaded a benchmarking initiative for healthcare volunteer administrators in the region. She has a background in Project Management and has been with Abington Hospital in several positions since 1990. She enjoys reading, taking walks, watching sports and adventuring with her husband John, a commercial insurance broker, and her two teacher-daughters, Katie and Joanna.
Kathy Stocker, MSA, BSMT(ASCP) is the Program Chairperson for DVAVA. Along with Collen Duran, she writes and publishes the DVAVA quarterly newsletter. Kathy is a long time member of DVAVA and has served as President, Conference Chairperson and Board Secretary. She is employed by RSVP in Volunteer Services and Community Outreach where she manages over 1,200 community volunteers. Previously, Kathy was Director of Volunteer Services at Chester County Hospital for 15 years. She holds a BS degree in Medical Technology from Wesley College and a MS degree in Health Care Administration from West Chester University. Kathy and her husband, David live in an old farmhouse in Kimberton, Chester County.
Meg Rider, MBA, CPXP is Director of Guest Services for the Center City Division of Jefferson Health and leads the Office of Patient and Family-Centered Care (Patient Services/Guest Relations, Language and Interpreter Services, Chinese Health Information Center, Spiritual Care and Volunteer Services). She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Stockton University and received her Masters of Business Administration degree from Thomas Jefferson University. Meg has also served as a board member of local nonprofits the William Way LGBTQ Community Center (Co-Chair Emeritus) and Philly AIDS Thrift and lives in Philadelphia with her spouse Natalie, and little dog, Louise.
