DuckJung Shin is an Associate Professor at Korea University Business School, Korea University. His current research programs center on the intersection between human resources and international business, the influence of social and political pressures in business, and behavioral strategy in international business. His works have appeared in academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Organization Science.
고려대학교 경영대학 부교수로 재직 중이다. 다국적기업과 중소기업을 위한 글로벌 경영전략, 신흥시장 개척 및 신사업 발굴, 전략적인사관리, 리더십, 경영사례 분석 등을 중심으로 연구와 강의를 진행해 왔다. Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management 등에 논문을 게재하였다.

He is currently under the supervision of Prof. DuckJung Shin. Prior to his doctoral program at KUBS, he gained valuable professional experience as a management consultant and HR Associate at a prominent local consulting firm and e-commerce company.

Short Bio: Na Young Kim is a Ph.D. student of International Business at Korea University Business School, studying under Professor DuckJung Shin. She holds a B.A. in Asian History from Waseda University, Japan, and an M.A. in Regional Studies with a focus on China and Japan from Korea University. Her primary areas of interest involve the interpersonal relationship between host country nationals and expatriates, and cultural diversity. She is also interested in the management strategies of Japanese and Chinese MNCs with her educational background in the countries. Before starting her doctoral studies, she worked as a researcher at Hyundai Group.

Short Bio: Mohammad Shahin Alam, originally from Bangladesh, achieved a Master of Science (MSc) in Management with a focus on Human Resource Management and Labour Relations from the Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge, Canada. Prior to this, he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is also a Chartered Professional in Human Resources Candidate at CPHR Alberta, Canada. Currently, he is working as an Employment Specialist at CDI College, Canada.
