2025 - 2026 Fundraising Campaign
We’re excited to announce the POSITIVE PTO’s 2025–2026 Fundraising Campaign in support of this year’s theme:
"67 Ways to Support Our Students"
At POSITIVE PTO, our mission is to enrich our middle school environment by fostering strong connections among the administration, teachers, parents, and community members. We’re excited to continue the POSITIVE PTO’s 2025–2026 Check-Writing Campaign in support of this year’s theme: 67 Ways to Support Our Students!
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it fuels the “extras” that make DSMS such a vibrant place to learn and grow, including:
Teacher appreciation events and treats
Classroom-enhancing grants
Updates to school spaces
Dances and community-building events
We invite each family to consider a donation of $67 per student. Every dollar stays right here at DSMS and directly supports initiatives that go beyond the public school budget. The POSITIVE PTO is funded entirely by families and community members—you truly make it all possible.

Our goal is 100% family participation. Gifts of any amount are valued and help show our students and teachers that we’re all in this together. (Certain awesome eighth graders also insist that donating $67 earns “major aura points,” though we can’t personally confirm this.)
