1. My Physics Interests at the Graduate level and Research Level:
I am a theorist and I love the basics and fundamentals of physics. I like to work on the Formal Aspects of Quantum Field Theory and Particle Physics, Models of Gravity in General Relativity, String Theory and Superstring Theory, Physics of Boson Stars, Boson Shells, Black Holes, Wormholes and Time Travel.
2. My Physics Interests at the Postgraduate Level:
At the postgraduate level, I love the basic/core topics in theoretical physics such as: Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Electrodynamics (including covariant formulation) and Electromagnetic Theory, Radiation Theory (a condensed course on quantum field theory) and Advanced Statistical Mechanics. At the Specialization level, I have a profound love for the subjects like Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics, Gravity Theory, General Relativity and Cosmology, String Theory and Superstring Theory.
3. My Physics Interests at the Undergraduate Level.
At the Graduate level, I like the basics of topics like: Mechanics, Advanced Mechanics (including Dynamics of a Particle, Rotational Dynamics, Oscillatory Motion, Gravitation and Central Force Motion, Non-inertial Systems, and Special Theory of Relativity). Classical Dynamics (including Calculus of Variations, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian Formulation and Hamilton-Jacobi Theory), Thermal Physics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics, Electricity and Magnetism and Electromagnetic Theory, Physics of Vibrations, Waves and Oscillations and Modern Optics, Special Theory of Relativity, Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Physics, Modern Physics, Advanced Statistical Mechanics, Advanced Electrodynamics, Advanced Classical Dynamics and a wide spectrum of topics in Mathematical Physics (including Vector Algebra, Vector Calculus and Vector Analysis, Multiple Integrals, Orthogonal Curvilinear Coordinates, Ordinary Differential Equations, Linear Differential Equations, Fourier Series, Theory of Errors, Dirac Delta Distribution, Numerical Analysis, Theory Linear Vector Spaces, Theory of Complex Variables, Integral Transforms, Partial Differential Equations, Special functions and Tensor Calculus).
By training, I am a theoretical physicist but I love to supervise all the Teaching Laboratories of Physics at the undergraduate level and the Teaching of General Laboratories at the Postgraduate level where the Teaching Laboratory of Waves and Optics interests me most.
My main emphasis in my teaching remains in particular, to demystify the difficult concepts and the difficult calculational details. For this, I try to split my teaching topic in to smaller parts and I also try to couple mathematical details with physical concepts and the physical concepts with mathematical details. My teaching and lecturing remains my main strength which keeps me enriching me contonuously......!!!
