Decision Theory Course - IDC, Spring 2012

The course deals with theories of decision making under risk and uncertainty and will be taught by Prof. David Schmeidler (whom I'll be assisting).

The course will emphasize the theoretical foundations of the field on one hand and their limitations on the other.

Basic concepts such as preferences relation, utility function, subjective probability, expected utility maximization, uncertainty, natural modes, rationality, judgment and other subjects will be discussed throughout the semester.
