Here's Why We Recommend a Guide!

A local guide is like a walking encyclopedia!  They’ll be able to answer your questions along the way as well as give you the scoop on the history of the area and other things to do in and around Drumheller.

You'll see things you likely would have missed along the way, or at least see them differently.  Even locals and experienced hikers will gain far more from a guided hike than they would hiking on their own.

An educational hike will turn you into a steward for the environment.  The more you learn about the Badlands, the more you’ll want to protect them.

Some guided hikes allow you to tackle a hike you may not otherwise do on your own or even with a partner. Guides bring the know-how to help you navigate while also learning about your surroundings.

It's time efficient!  Your local guide knows exactly where to go and how long it will take to get there, allowing you to plan you trip more effectively.
