Come move your body through its full range of motions, lengthening and stretching your muscles. This will be followed by a guided relaxation or positive affirmations meditation. This 45-minute class will start with a short lesson about specific muscles and their function. Then we’ll do a gentle warm up followed by resistance band or hand weight exercises with easy, moderate and difficult levels to choose from. You can even do most of them sitting in a chair. This class is for those who have experience with line dancing. Dances will mainly be 32 counts or more. This class is for those just learning how to line dance, or who have taken only limited instruction. You'll learn basic line dance patterns at an appropriate pace. Dances for this class will mostly be 32 counts or less. Once you’re comfortable at this level, you’re welcome to try our ADVANCED LINE DANCING class. Class sizes are limited, so register early. Step aerobics is a classic cardio workout. For 30 minutes you'll step up, around, and down from a raised platform in different patterns to boost your heart rate and strengthen your muscles. This will be followed by a cool down, body weight exercises (with different difficulty levels to choose from) and stretching. *PLEASE NOTE – The step portion of this class can also be done on the floor for a lower impact alternative. In the event of poor air quality or extreme weather, outdoor classes will be rescheduled or moved indoors and run for one hour in a similar class format.
FREE. Everyone welcome. No experience required. Drums and other percussion/rhythm instruments are available to use or bring your own.
