Teaching

I have fifteen years of combined teaching experience - ten years teaching as an Assistant/Associate Professor at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville and five years as a graduate student at the University of Texas at Arlington. At Tennessee Tech University, over the past ten years, I have taught a variety of classes, namely, calculus, matrix algebra, introduction to proofs, college geometry, linear algebra I & II, abstract algebra I & II (both undergraduate and graduate), based on the needs of my department. As a graduate student, I taught college algebra and precalculus and was also involved with the NSF GK-12 program.  Over the years, my teaching philosophy has evolved alongside the stages of my career as a graduate student to a tenure-track/tenured faculty member.
