Pravin hails from Amravati, Maharashtra. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), New Delhi, India. Before joining IITD, Pravin worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Technical University of Dresden, Germany and then as an Assistant Professor at Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer. His research focuses on the electrochemical investigations of advanced functional materials for renewable energy harvesting and its storage so that the use of traditional fossil fuels can be minimized.

Dipika Sharma is from Agra, Uttar Pradesh. She joined the group as Inspire Faculty in May 2024. Before joining this, she worked as an institute postdoctoral fellow in the department of Physics at IIT Delhi (2018-2021) and then as D.S. Kothari postdoctoral fellow in the department of Chemistry at University of Delhi (2021-2024). Her research focuses on the designing and development novel semiconductor-based materials and up-scaling for solar hydrogen production.

Ajay was born in Sonipat, Haryana. He has done his B.S. from Hindu College, University of Delhi. He worked on his master's thesis at IIT Roorkee and joined the PPI group in July 2021 as a Ph.D. Scholar. Ajay's current research focuses on novel synthesis of ferroelectric/ multiferroic nanoengineered materials especially oxide heterostructures and to obtain the fundamental understanding on atomic structure-property relationship. His goal is to develop an efficient electrode material for energy conversion and storage devices.

Aejaz is from Kashmir and has done his B. Sc and M. Sc from the University of Kashmir. He is currently investigating 2D-MXenes (TMCs and TMNs) towards electrochemical carbon dioxide and nitrogen reduction.
"The 3D world is pretty much engrossing, but there is a comprehensive latitude at 2D and there is a wider scope".

Aamir belongs to Kashmir and has done his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Kashmir. Aamir joined the lab as a Junior Research Fellow in April 2021 and then as a regular Ph.D. student in July 2022. Presently, Aamir is focusing on the development of an efficient catalysts for electrochemical N2 reduction.

Sagar originally hails from Sirsa in Haryana. He earned his M.Sc. from IIT Jodhpur in 2021 and his B.Sc. from National College Sirsa in 2019. He commenced his Ph.D. in July 2021 at IIT Delhi. Currently, he is working on designing reasonably priced electrospun nanostructured materials for electrochemical energy storage applications.

Navneet is from Sirsa, Haryana. He graduated from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, with BSc(H) in Chemistry (2017-2020). He then went to IIT Hyderabad for his master's degree through IIT-JAM. He joined the PPI group in January 2023 as a P.hD Scholar. Navneet's current research is focused on integrated CO2 capture and conversion using non-aqueous solvents, as well as its mechanistic investigation through Raman spectroscopy.

Shivangi is from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. She has done her MS from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She joined the PPI group as a Research Scholar in 2023. Currently, she is working on perovskites - Mxene composite systems towards sustainable electrochemical CO2 reduction to value-added products.

Jagriti is from Rohtak, Haryana. She did her Bachelor's from Govt. PG College for Women, Rohtak (Maharishi Dayanand University) 2020 & done her master's from NIT Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh (2023). She joined the PPI group as a UGC scholar in December 2023. She is currently working on Electrochemical CO2 reduction.

Bhawna Rathor hails from Ajmer, Rajsthan. She has done her graduation from Sophia girl's college ajmer and post graduation from central university of Rajasthan. She made a heterogeneous palladium catalyst using TiO2 nanowires and FTO surface during Msc project. Currently, She is working on water splitting as a mean of green hydrogen.

Darshana is from Pathsala, Assam. Darshana completed her Bachelor’s in Chemistry (Honours) from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, followed by a Master’s in Chemistry from the same university. She began her PhD at IIT Delhi in January 2025 and later transitioned into the UQ-IITD Joint PhD Program in July 2025, supported by a Junior Research Fellowship. Her research project is Sustainable materials for electrochemical capture of CO2. The project will also foster the advancement of techniques and skills in materials science and (electro)chemical engineering, driving progress in sustainable carbon management.

Roshan is from Delhi. He completed his B.Sc. (Prog.) in Chemistry from Shivaji College, University of Delhi, in 2021. He then pursued his M.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Delhi. He joined the PPI group as a Ph.D. scholar under UGC-JRF in January 2025. His current research focuses on the engineering and design of electrochemical systems for next-generation energy storage.
