Our Research approach encompasses the chemical, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical methods of energy capture, storage and conversion. Our group aims at providing electrochemical and photo-electrochemical transformations of CO2 and N2 into value added chemicals.
We focus on the rational design and fabrication of semiconductor nanomaterials and to understand their chemical and physical properties to explore the potential applications in catalysis, energy storage and conversion.
Our research also studies the electrocatalytic and photo-electrocatalytic fuel forming reactions on the surface of semiconductor nanoparticles and to develop a disruptive technology that could free us from a fossil fuel based economy.
