Meet the Teacher

Welcome!

This year is my 14th full year of teaching and my 3rd year here at Illini Central High School. I

I currently teach Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Biology, Environmental Science. I am the Science Club Sponsor, the Senior Class Sponsor, as well as the Student Council Sponsor.

I attended Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences in Secondary Education with a Minor in Animal Science. I currently hold a Master's Degree in K-12 Technology from Nova Southeastern University. I love being outside in nature and traveling the states to see new things! My husband is a Radiation Therapist in Springfield, Illinois and we have two wonderful little boys.

I love sharing my excitement of the biology world with my students and love watching them learn new things and develop new skills.
