I worked on the total synthesis of several Lycopodium alkaloids during my doctoral research under supervision of Professor Rich Carter at Oregon State University (the home of Beavers). After graduation, I moved to NIH (National Institutes of Health) in Washington DC metro area for postdoctoral research. There I worked on synthesis of small molecule enzyme inhibitors and Peptide Nucleic Acids under supervision of Dr. Daniel Appella at NIDDK (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases). At Abzena in Greater Philadelphia area I concentrated mainly on antibody drug conjugate (ADC) related research. In 2021, to explore new adventures in process chemistry I moved to JM in Boston area.
