Research interests
With widespread adoption of embedded sensor devices and collection of 'big data', my research focuses on improving intelligence of sensor devices sitting at the 'edge of the network' to facilitate real time event detection. My work builds on the concept of Edge Computing to optimize resource utilization at network edges, especially sensor devices, while ensuring uninterrupted services.
My research interests include Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Edge Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks and Humanitarian Engineering.
