Hello! I'm Kriti Bhargava.

I'm an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC).

My path to Santa Cruz has been a global one. Before joining UCSC, I was an Assistant Professor in Residence at the University of Connecticut (UConn). I completed my postdoctoral research at Coventry University in the UK and earned my Ph.D. from South East Technological University (SETU) in Ireland. ✈️

What I'm truly passionate about is humanitarian engineering - the idea that we can and should build technology to solve critical societal challenges. I see my role as an educator as the best way to make a real impact. My goal is to empower the next generation of engineers with strong technical skills and a deep sense of purpose. I'm committed to creating an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and ready to build a future that works for all of us. You can learn more about my teaching and research under the respective tabs. My detailed CV can be found here. 🎓 💻

I'm always open to discussing new ideas, potential collaborations, or just talking about tech for good. Connect with me on LinkedIn!
