Born Nov 1868
Father: William Elze Weekly
Mother: Irene J Skaggs
Married Addie M Barger, ABT 1894. Some genealogical information names her Addie or Adda Pearson. The marriage certificate reads Adda M Barger. Pearson was the name of a neighbor, which inexplicably got put into someone's records as Addie's maiden name. Addie's parents are John Barger, b. 1844 Illinois, and Mary Lewellyn, b. 1850 Indiana.
Her father's obituary says: John Barger, one of the pioneers of Coos county, left here [Oregon?] many years ago for California, died Nov. 6, 1926 at Watsonville. He was 82 years of age. He was a native of Ohio. Leaves 6 children: 3 daughters in Calif;, a daughter and son (Mrs. W.M. Weekly and Will Barger) of Myrtle Point and one sister in Bellingham, Wa.(source is not stated)

MPE A 77 June 4, 1898 Bald Hill.
[M. example of local humor at this time period.]
Albert Bright and George Griffin and William Weekly cut down a large hollow bee tree, left a stump of average height and got honey out, saved a swarm of bees [not quote] (which means, not an exact quote)
Who says Coos County doesn't flow with cream and wild honey -- and mud? + [red check mark]
