On Saturday July 25, 2015 just after 7:30 PM the Bristol Fire Dept along with the Division of EMS was dispatched to a possible structure fire. Upon Arrival, Chief 5 "AJ" Medeiros from the Dreadnaught station gave a size up of a 3 story wood frame building with heavy smoke showing.

All of the towns resources were committed to fighting what proved to be a difficult fire, eventually the decision was made to fight this from a defensive position. Mutual Aid from the town of Warren, RI was requested, and their Tower Ladder set up operations to assist with fire suppression. The family who was displaced was tended to by The American Red Cross and given temporary shelter. Crews battled the fire, then overhaul and fire inspectors conducted their investigation. Apparatus were cleared throughout the evening, with our Ladder 1 and Truck 6 being the last company to clear around 11:15 PM.
