About Me

I graduated from Samford University in 2007, then completed my Ph.D. under the advisement of Andras Bezdek in 2012 from Auburn University. Since, I have held a position in the Mathematics Department of Southern Connecticut State University. My research lies in the broad area of Discrete Mathematics. My earliest years as a mathematician and dissertation were concentrated in the area of discrete and computational geometry. More recently I have collaborated with students and other colleagues in other areas of discrete mathematics, such as number theory, graph theory and design theory. I have always loved teaching mathematics and continue to find it both a joy and challenge.

My nonacademic interests involve staying active as I tend to bit of a weekend warrior. I enjoy running, biking, hiking, but mostly spending time with my wonderful wife and two children!
