Short Biography

Dr. Amrita Chaturvedi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Previously she was Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She earned her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India where she specialized in knowledge modelling (ontologies and AI). Her broad research interests encompass Software Architecture, Knowledge Modelling, Soft Computing, Machine Learning and their applications. She has a rich blend of teaching and research experience and has supervised various B.Tech., M.Tech. and PhD thesis. She has also contributed to various implementation-focused research and development projects as an independent contributor as well as part of collaborative teams. Her professional involvement includes serving as a Session Chair, Program Committee member and research paper Reviewer for prestigious International Conferences and Journals. She has reviewed scholarly publications, including a book on Software Design Patterns and is frequently invited to deliver seminars, keynotes and welcome addresses at national and international events.

She has received several academic and professional awards and honors and has participated in educational visits, research collaborations and conferences across European, North American, African and Asian countries. She is enthusiastic to gain as well as disperse knowledge for the melioration of humanity.
