A very busy gigging December for the run up to Christmas as I was standing in with "The Cruisers" until their singer Alan recovers. Get well soon Alan! The "Alternative Roy Orbison" album has now sold out. It was a limited run & raised over £1,200 for different charities. "Walk With Scott" & the "Richmond Hope" Charity Foundations were the main benefactors! Incredibly enough I had a call from the "Roy Orbison Organization" about the album & they are now playing tracks from the
album in the Roy Orbison Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. Yee haw!
You'll find a clip from one of my shows & a short burst from one of the album tracks.

This n' That
It is with great sadness to announce that we have recently lost two of the past members of the This N' That family. The tremendously gifted guitarist Ronnie Lessels & the wonderfully talented Bobby Heatlie. Ronnie was a really lovely guy quietly understated but a wonderful & highly regarded player. Bobby was an extremely gifted musician as well as a beautiful person & was part of This n' That during the 60's & 70's playing sax with the brass section. He was best known for his No.1 hit "Japaneese Boy" as well as hits for Shaking Stevens & many other artists. RIP Ronnie Lessels & Bobby Heatlie. You will be forever in our thoughts!
