My mother used this crochet book and a few of my Diana fashion books to create several fabric costumes for me, most notably the Taj Mahal suit as well as the Cream and Taupe Trooping the Colour dress for the 16" Franklin Mint People's Princess doll.
The patterns are intended for crocheted Barbie sized doll clothes, however Mom adapted to fit the 16" FM doll with very little complaining, so I'm guessing it wasn't super difficult.
