1st Edition

The 1st edition was superseded by the 2nd edition. But for reference, info for the 1st edition is here.

Software: All the 1st edition programs were updated to use JAGS on January 1, 2012. Every file name that had "BUGS" or "BRugs" now has a version with "JAGS" in its file name. The BUGS versions are deprecated. JAGS uses a model-specification language very similar to BUGS, so transitioning to JAGS is easy. See the Software tab for complete installation instructions. A zip file with all the programs for the 1st edition is in the files at the bottom of this page. Be sure to unzip (extract) the zip file before trying to use the programs!

Errata: A list of corrections for the 1st edition is available in the files at the bottom of this page. There were a few minor corrections spotted after that time, but they are so minor that the list has not been updated.
