The given portfolio describes how I have met the NCAS and NMBA registered nurse standard of practice as listed out by the nursing and midwifery board of Australia. All the standards will be explained and evidence on how I am competent on those standards will be provided which will substantiate the skill and knowledge I have learned during my study at the University of New England.

I have deeply valued and worked in the achievement of the standards of practice for registered nurses from the time I commenced the study. The Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBA) have developed standards that acknowledge the legal and ethical responsibilities, the importance of continuing professional development. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia has developed seven standards that provide guidelines for safe and quality nursing practice.

I have achieved all the seven NMBA standards required to fulfil as a student nurse. I have completed 800 hours of clinical placement as the requirement of the course. I have attached my clinical record books, self-assessment quiz of NCAS and some assignments as evidence. Thank you
