David

In January 2006 he started full-time employment at the Pennsylvania/MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center, after having served as a hearing officer in Allegheny County's Family Division for ten years. He also continues to teache part-time at the University of Pittsburgh. Within the last few years he has become an avid bicyclist. In 2003 he obtained his Technician Class radio license from the FCC, and is now KB3KAZ.

Amy

is a children's librarian working in the Carnegie Library System. In addition to putting up with David, she is involved in a number of volunteer activities. She is a native Pittsburgher who enjoys reading, travel and being absolutely vital to her family. David and Amy have been married for more than 38 years, so you know she is eligible for “sainthood.” Amy was active on the Reunion Committee of the 1970 Class of Taylor Allderdice High School.

Rachel

was graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 2004. She majored in secondary education, and did her student teaching at a Navajo reservation in northern Arizona. At IU she was very busy with a number of activities including musical theatre, ushering, volunteering and dorm activity programming. On 2 July 2006 she married Greg Cohen of Arizona. Rachel and Greg (who obtained his Master's in May, 2004) are currently living in Phoenix. Rachel is now "Rachel Cohen," is teaching special education. She earned her Master's from Arizona State University in 2009. On December 22, 2009 she became the mother of Lila Ashley Cohen.

Eric

is a graduate of Allderdice High School. In addition to basketball, his other interests include computers, magic, table tennis, and juggling and running. Like his dad, he also obtained his Technician Class radio license, and is now KB3KAY. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology, majoring in computer engineering, until transferring to Pitt where he was graduated with a math degree. Eric is now pursing a PhD in math at the University of Pennsylvania.

During the summer of 2007 he did math research at Cornell where he met the delightful Natalia Cordova, a native of Puerto Rico. Natalia earned her Master's in math in 2009 from Colorado State University. She is now pursuing her PhD in neuroscience from Princeton University. Eric and Natalia live in New Jersey.

Several years ago Eric developed an interesting PowerPoint presentation about his paternal grandfather. It can be found at this link: Chaim Korman.

Greg Cohen (son-in-law)

is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Chemistry. In May, 2004 he earned his Master's Degree in Teaching at Arizona State. He is employed as a high school teacher, as is Rachel. In addition to diverse interests in math and chemistry, he is a "sushi maven," and day trader. Greg became a father on December 22, 2009 with the birth of Lila.

Java

was a mixed breed who joined our family from a local shelter. She died on September 14, 2009. She would have been 13 years old in January 2010. She was very talented and could do a number of different tricks. She was, at times, difficult and high maintenance, but she was very loyal and loving. She is sorely missed. A lover of snow, she was the only mammal in the household happy about a bad snow storm. She was especially fond of "her Susans" and Carol H. She especially appreciated her vet, Dr. Carol Butler, for her patience and care. She also enjoyed her stays at Mancuso's Pet Hotel.
