Bio

Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, DJ Selena hails from the real Jersey Shore. As a toddler, Selena could remember and memorize the songs that she heard on the radio. As a child, Selena studied piano and played clarinet in her elementary school band. In high school, music was Selena's primary focus as she played piano, electric bass, clarinet, bass clarinet, tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, and xylophone. Spending hours a day listening to the radio and being exposed to different musical genres, Selena became a walking music encyclopedia.

After obtaining a B.A. in History and Social Studies Education from Messiah College, Selena moved to NH and has been here since. Currently, Selena works as a technology specialist for a local school district and has obtained a M.S. in Internet Engineering from Marlboro College.

Her technical experience, musical knowledge and performance background are central to how Selena performs as a DJ. Selena knows what different groups of people want to hear and what music gets people on their feet and onto the floor.
