50th Reunion

Ft. Mitchell Country Club

September 19, 2015

We remembered all the great events, times and  music from 1965. We had a good turnout with 80 people attending. Old friendships were rekindled and new ones were made. Our dinner prepared by the Ft. Mitchell Country Club staff was absolutely wonderful using a "food stations" concept.  After that, we participated in a special show hosted by Dixie Grad Steve Sturgil looking back at the years around 1965 and  had a countdown to the "Favorite Top 5 Songs of 1965" selection for which we cast our own votes.  There was a tribute to the "Recording Artists of 1965"  from Dixie using a video.  We danced the night away until 11:30, while listening to the top "50" songs from the "Songs of 65".

And as a special treat, we shared Mrs. Irene McCracken's birthday.  She and Mr. Milton McCracken joined our reunion celebration.  We remembered all the great event, times and music from 1965.

Friday Night "Mixer" 

Walt's Hitching Post

On Friday evening September 15, the evening before we "mixed it up" at Walt's Hitching Post Restaurant in Ft. Wright, KY for  a"Casual Get-Together".  We had a chance to talk with others and many stayed to eat from the Walt's menu.

Dixie Heights High School Tour

There was an afternoon tour of Dixie Saturday for those of us who wanted to see all the changes since 1965, too.
