I have been working for different projects related to Semantic Web technologies at the European Union Publication Office. Previously, I have been a research engineer at the Public Research Center Henri Tudor and Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) from 2012 to 2015. I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Lynda Tamine-Lechani at the Paul Sabatier university in Toulouse, in France.
My general research interests lie in the use and development of information retrieval, information extraction, machine learning techniques and Semantic Web technologies for effective and efficient adaptive information access and content management. My other areas of interest include personalized search and domain-dependent (e.g., legal, biomedical), data mining and knowledge discovery by applying statistical models for solving Natural Language Processing problems.
