Dikla Berkowitz is a versatile individual who juggles roles as an author, a literary editor, a graphic designer, and a mother of three. Born in California, she moved to Israel with her family at the age of one and has called it home ever since.

 Her literary journey began at a young age, fueled by her passion for writing. She penned her first book, Thoughts On Faith, over a four-year period during high school. The book was self-published with the support of her family, a testament to her determination and the love she has for her craft, which she discovered at 18.

 When her two daughters were small, she helped them learn to read Hebrew and English, which inspired several of her books.

She consulted several people, including dictionaries and Wikipedia, to ensure the material was as accurate as possible. 

Interesting story - Her second book "Adventure At The Zoo", was written after a previous version of that book was deleted from her computer halfway through without backup. The previous version was intended for older kids around 10 years old, and already had 40 pages written out of about 80 - 100 pages. It was so upsetting that she wrote a new book for a younger audience with 20 pages. Lesson learned. 

She has published more than ten books.

Meanwhile, she is writing her first English fantasy novel for adults in between other projects.

דיקלה ברקוביץ היא סופרת, עורכת ספרותית, גרפיקאית ואמא לשלושה ילדים. היא נולדה בקליפורניה ועלתה לארץ ישראל בגיל שנה.

אנקדוטה מעניינת - הספר השני שלה - "הרפתקה בגן החיות", נכתב אחרי שהגרסה הראשונה שלו נמחקה מהמחשב שלה בלי גיבוי, כשהייתה באמצע כתיבתו. הגרסה הראשונה שלו נועדה לילדים גדולים יותר, בסביבות גיל 10. ו 40 עמודים מתוך 80 - 100 עמודים כבר היו כתובים. זה היה כל כך מתסכל שאת הגרסה השנייה היא כתבה לילדים צעירים יותר עם 20 עמודים. גיבוי, גיבוי, גיבוי.

היא הוציאה לאור יותר מ - 10 ספרים.

כרגע, היא עובדת על כתיבת ספר פנטזיה באנגלית למבוגרים, במקביל לפרוייקטים אחרים.
